Setup tools are designed to improve the ease of use of frequently used tools within a main workflow. They simplify the configuration of common settings that are later referenced by the main flow tools. It is important to note that setup tools function independently and are run only once at the beginning of the flow. They are separate from the main flow itself.

In terms of their relationship, setup tools act as the parent to the main flow tools, which are considered the children. This parent-child relationship implies that the main flow cannot be executed unless the setup tools have been executed beforehand.
